After the game, head coach Hong Won-ki said, “All the players showed their determination to win. We had to use a lot of bullpen pitchers today, but they pitched their best and were able to close the innings with minimal runs.”
At the plate, Byung-wook Lim went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run in the fourth inning, two doubles, two walks, two RBIs and three runs scored. Ronnie Dawson also had a multi-hit game and leadoff hitter Kim Jun-wan had two hits. Kim Dong-heon, who came off the bench, drove in the game-winning run with a game-tying double.
